Excerpt:
On the top of Haunted Mountain there stood a castle made of stone that oozed orange and purple glop. It had spider web windows and all around it not a single plant dared to grow.
Inside the castle, in the highest room there was a window that overlooked the entire town of Doomop. And that was where Zabba, the castle’s only inhabitant sat all day long. She looked like a child with lovely yellow curls and soft skin, but she was one-hundred years old!
Zabba was the victim of a witch’s curse.
Many years earlier she had been a vain, mean girl and had come to the castle to tease the old, crippled woman who lived there. It angered the woman, who was a witch,
and she cast a curse upon Zabba saying:
‘You have youth and beauty tis true
With the flick of my wand
You will always be You!
You can never leave this castle now
Or you will grow old and feeble –
KAPOW!’
